Release the brake: a 90-day burnout program for leaders
Most leaders don't burn out from hard work. They burn out from friction: unclear priorities, calendars that belong to everyone else, decisions that never close. This program removes the friction, so your leaders keep their drive without paying for it.

Capable leaders, running hot
- Strong people working long hours, and the important work still slips.
- Calendars full of meetings, with strategy happening late at night or not at all.
- Decisions that sit open for weeks while the team waits.
- Rising cynicism, shorter fuses, or good managers quietly looking elsewhere.
- Wellness perks and time off that helped for about a week.
Burnout is friction over time
I use one formula: Time × (Stress + Frustration) = Burnout. Stress is the gas, and good leaders need it. Frustration is the brake: effort without traction. Most burnout programs try to lower the gas with rest, apps and resilience training. This one releases the brake by building each leader a personal system for priorities, time, decisions and boundaries.
Keep the drive. Remove the drag.
A program, not a pep talk
Team assessment
A burnout and executive function assessment for each leader at the start and the end, so you can see what changed.
Kickoff workshop
A half-day session on the burnout formula and the nine executive function skills, led by Scott.
Six cohort sessions
Every two weeks, each leader builds and tests one part of their system: capture, calendar, decisions, boundaries, focus and a weekly reset.
Between-session check-ins
Short prompts that keep the new habits running between sessions.
Results debrief
A before-and-after review with the sponsor, and a plan for what comes next.
Optional 1:1 coaching
Individual coaching for leaders who need more than the group.
Leadership teams of 8 to 12
Founders, executives, directors and managers at companies of roughly 50 to 1,000 people. It works best when a sponsor, usually the CEO, COO or head of people, wants the team running at full capacity without burning out.
It isn't therapy or crisis support. If a leader needs clinical care, we'll say so and help them find it.
We're running a small number of founding pilots. Founding partners receive a reduced rate in exchange for honest feedback, before-and-after measurement, and permission to share anonymized results.
Pricing is discussed on a short call. Sessions run online.

Before you apply
Is this a wellness program?
No. It's a performance program. Wellness programs mostly reduce stress; this one removes the friction that makes stress turn into burnout.
How much time does it take?
A half-day kickoff, then one 60 to 90 minute session every two weeks, plus light practice between sessions.
Do leaders need an ADHD diagnosis?
No. The program is built for every brain, and it works especially well for leaders who struggle with focus, follow-through or time.
Can it be tailored to our team?
Yes. The kickoff and session examples are adapted to your team's priorities and real work.
